Our Environment Under Siege

This is a second edition publication which has additional chapters on COVID-19, and its impact on the environment. In this book, the author opines that environmental degradation is also a factor that has contributed to the Covid pandemic.

Professor Micheika Ratemo shares his life work as a professor of environment in this work. While preparing his lectures in different universities, he got the idea of consolidating his work into a book. Working with Professor Michieka on this publication taught us what it takes to protect and safeguard our environment, and what is at stake if we do not.
