Summary

This is an end-of-project evaluation report conducted by Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) on its five-year Public-Private Sector Dialogue (PPD) programme. KEPSA sought to improve conditions for expanded trade and investment for Kenyan businesses with a focus on transport and logistics (road, rail and air), trade facilitation, customs and tax, standards and sanitary and phytosanitary, trade logistics, and technical support for efficient public-private sector dialogue frameworks. This study evaluates the project’s relevance and coherence by providing information and knowledge on key learnings of the project. In addition, it investigates whether there have been improved trading standards, reduced non-tariff barriers and an improved trade regulatory environment in Kenya.
