Esther Azinga

Esther Azinga holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Swahili/Religion) from Moi University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Kenyatta University.
She taught Swahili language and Swahili literature in high school for nine years. She is a trained examiner who marked Fasihi (Swahili Literature) examination under Kenya National Examinations Council, for 18 years.
She worked as a full-time English-Swahili translator in a faith based non-profit organization for 13 years, from 2003 to 2016. She specialises in English-Swahili translation, editing and proofreading. She has participated in translation and editing of children’s story books from English to Swahili, and editing of training of trainers’ manuals. She has translated manuals and articles for several organisations.
Outside of work, she served as a Chairperson of the Board of Management in St. George’s Primary School. Nairobi for a period of 3 years. She also teaches business management courses at KAG EAST University as an adjunct lecturer.
