Summary

This publication highlights a project that began in 2018. It was initiated four Non-Governmental Organisations in Ethiopia, Benin, Ghana and Zimbabwe. These organisations are partner members of the African Biodiveristy Network.

The project aims at reviving farmers’ diversity and associated practices of indigenous knowledge. It further aims at contributing to a broader process of ensuring food sovereignty and improved livelihoods in Africa by strengthening the ability of local communities to save and preserve biodiversity. The development of this catalogue is one of the defined targets that have been achieved by the project.
