This book is an essential resource for teachers looking to equip their students with vital life skills. As children grow up, they face numerous changes and challenges. As a result, they may make decisions that jeopardise their safety and well-being in their quest for independence and self-reliance.

This was a joint effort by the Young Strong Mothers Association (YSMF) and the  Equality Now. Together, they have developed a comprehensive guide to be used by life skills teachers in and outside schools in Tanzania and Kenya. This guide aims to help students navigate the challenges that come with growing up and empower them with the skills they need to make responsible decisions. With the help of this guide, teachers can prepare students to face the uncertainties of life with confidence and resilience.
