Summary

This was a joint publication with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and RES4Africa Foundation. This report was published as part of a series of other country energy reports, in which regulatory reviews of the electricity sectors in different countries were undertaken. These reports underscore the importance of private-public partnerships in ameliorating the energy sectors of each country. Each report provides a three-pronged investment analysis of a country’s openness, readiness and attractiveness.

The methodology gives a detailed overview of the criteria used to develop the country reports.
