Summary
This study examines women’s inclusion and representation in five dimensions of the energy sector: access, education, employment and leadership, entrepreneurship and policy. It identifies obstacles and proposes steps to promote gender parity in sustainable energy. The report advocates for women in the energy transition for a just and sustainable future, considering global challenges’ disproportionate impacts on women. It concludes with actions to enhance women’s participation and representation in the energy sector.
