Aali Hasham

Aali Hasham is a tech savvy Geographic Information System (GIS) Professional with over eight years of local and international experience spanning over various industries and sectors. He received his GIS training in Calgary, Canada. Aali has worked in the oil and gas sector mapping pipeline data and well site logs. He also has experience in land parcel mapping with the government of Alberta Land Records Management system (SPIN).

After working in the oil and gas, and land survery sectors, Aali moved to Kenya to pursue opportunities in the research fields. Having worked for major research firms, his skills and competencies have enabled him to think out of the box and enable him to transition into any organisation in turn making them utilise GIS to make better data driven solutions.

Utilising his skills and talents have enabled him to open up new possibilities in the data and analytics field. The additional insight has enabled companies to save time and costs and at the same time make better decisions out of their data and insight.

Aali continues to pursue his career in GIS with diligence and hard work and states that “Nothing is impossible unless you have the drive and the will to succeed.”
